Manufacturing process of lamp pole |
Material of lamp pole:The JIS-SS400 (ASTM-A36) structural steel plate and JIS SMA41 weather-resistant welded structural steel plate are used to fabricate the lamp poles. |
Process:First, the steel plate is cut into individual trapezoid sheets. Each of them will be treated into conic shape, presenting 1.2% of slope, through pressing process with Hydraulic Press. Next, continuous arc welding is applied along the longitudinal section in presenting a single-row joint along the entire pole without horizontal connector. After hot-dip galvanization process, it will undergo the arm bending process and the finished product is presented. |
Corrosion-resistant finish:All lamp poles and accessories are treated by a Hot-Dip Galvanization Method for presenting consolidated steel-zinc element to achieve the corrosion-resistant effect. Its zinc content is over 5mm thick as required by the galvanization standard ( E-001 ) of Taiwan Power Company. The galvanization content is 610g per square meter and that less than 5mm is over 457g. Under normal climate conditions, it can last for over 20~25 years of standard corrosion-resistant period. Comparing to conventional painting type of corrosion-resistant finish, our product not only extends the service life but also saves the need of frequent maintenance. |
